Survey Demonstration
This is a demonstration of the 2010 Community Wildlife Survey. The series of
web pages in the demonstration corresponds closely to the actual survey
except for -
- Some parameter substitutions.
- Error checking for valid town and/or postcode values
on the enrollment screen has been disabled.
- The automatic bypass of enrollment screen for 2006 survey
respondents is disabled. This screen always appears
in the demonstration.
- Some common material which is dynamically added at the bottom of each
survey page has been omitted. This is similar in content
to the box below.

- On each page the SUBMIT or START SURVEY button
is disabled.
A link has been inserted on each web page near the
submit button to advance the demonstration. This text and link do
not normally appear - the link is only for the demonstration.
- The maps display without any initial house marker and at default
zoom. (Centred near Condobolin NSW using a whole of State view).
This contrasts with the actual survey. If information from
the previous 2006 survey is available, the map
is centred on their house at a reasonable close zoom level.
Additionally a house marker is already in place.
For new respondents the information on the enrollment page is used
to centre the map.
You may interact with each page. On the
map pages, it is
possible to add animal markers and then scroll to the bottom
of the page to examine the data that would be submitted in
non-demonstration mode.

the demonstration.
